Dr. Darren Ravassipour

After growing up in beautiful Wenatchee, Washington, Dr. Ravassipour received his Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry from the University of Puget Sound, followed by post-graduate study at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Go Tar Heels!). Dr. Ravassipour graduated in the top 5% of his class with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery and Masters of Science in Orthodontics. While in college he was co-captain of the tennis team and actively involved in student life.

Dr. Ravassipour has published articles on a variety of orthodontic topics and has volunteered with the Head Start Programs to develop a program for oral health education. His commitment to our community also finds him actively involved in the local Dental Society (serving as President in 2007) and Rotary Club.

Dr. Ravassipour and his wife, a rare Rogue Valley native,  are the proud parents of Reid and Piper.

The Team

Dr. Ravassipour and his staff are passionate about helping you achieve the most beautiful and healthy smile possible. We offer our family of patients a fun and relaxed atmosphere, and with over 60 years combined experience, the Ravassipour team prides itself on developing treatment and managing even the most challenging orthodontic cases.

Ivy, Treatment Coordinator

Her title may be Treatment Coordinator, but it really doesn’t due her justice! From assisting with orthodontic procedures to managing the office, Ivy does it all (and has done so for over 30 years)!  When not at the office, Ivy and her husband John enjoy spending time with their grandchildren and riding motorcycles. Fun fact: Ivy loves the Supremes and dreamt of joining the group ‘back in the day.’

Brianna, Orthodontic Assistant

Brianna has always been passionate about orthodontics and says working with Dr. Ravassipour’s patients is “the greatest!” She is currently working on her radiology certification and plans to complete the program this Fall. When not working Brianna loves to golf and relax with family, but most especially being Mom to her son Alex. Fun fact: Brianna admits to being a terrible singer who loves to sing all the time.

Sarah, Orthodontic Assistant

Sarah comes to the practice with over six years of orthodontic experience along with x-ray and expanded function certifications. She is a rare Medford native and is now enjoying raising her son here! When not working she loves to sing karaoke with friends.  Fun Fact: Sarah has tried out for American Idol twice and you should hear the girl sing!

Chana, Appointment Coordinator

Chana manages the practice’s scheduling and is the smiling face that greets patients and answers your calls. When not at work she and her sons can be found enjoying a number of sports and camping. Fun fact: Chana grew up on a ranch in Macdoel, CA, and recently completed a 3-day cattle drive from Macdoel to McCloud.

Michelle, Financial Coordinator

Michelle’s 10+ years in credit management has made her an invaluable part of our   practice financials and insurance billing team. When not at the office Michelle is most often with her 2 boys and involved in some sort of sporting event. Fun Fact: Michelle and her whole family jam to Rock Band on the weekends.

Erinn, Administrative & Technical Support

Erinn is a full-time student at Southern Oregon University and a part-time office guru! She serves as our sterile tech, laboratory tech and computer troubleshooter. Is there anything the girl can’t do? When not working she teaches swim lessons and loves to play ultimate Frisbee with friends & family. Fun Fact: Erinn dreams of someday working as a Disaster Relief Aide.

Lori, Laboratory Technician

With over 7 years of specialty experience, Lori helps with our orthodontic appliances, retainers and models. Lori, along with her husband and two boys, enjoys all things outdoors: hiking, camping, fishing and hunting. Fun Fact: Lori loves to arm wrestle! (And if you’ve seen the ‘guns’ on this girl you know she’s good at it too).
